Good morning Carla et al.

Wonderful day today.  Working a much abbreviated schedule tonight, as my nephew is coming in from NY for a few hours before he is on his way to Colorado with my son.  We are going over to eat with them.

Don't know if/when I will be getting back on this board.  I will be getting to work at 2:15 AM tomorrow, and will have to do entire night's work in 4 hours.  Won't leave me much time for internet.  I don't normally do much on here during the weekend and this weekend Mary has lots planned for me.  So I may not be back by until Sunday night.

GOD BLESS AMERICA!!!!!

The surgeon left a message that he is scheduling a bunch of tests. They will call back to fill me in. It feels like hurry up and wait.

When he said he would test for Crohn's disease, I thought ~ crone's as in old hag or witch? That would be more appropriate since I had WLS on Halloween, own 7 black cats and my best frind has called me 'Witch' since we were in Jr. High School. Have to get some humor out of this or I would cry.

I took the M&M's out for a walk. Matthew began to scream. He had stepped in an ant hill and they were coving his feet and legs. His Mom, my daughter, has instilled such a fear of bugs in him that he freaks out if a fly lands on him. Poor Mr. M was terrified. Grandma rescued him in no time flat.RoachI hope we don't run into snakes or he is on his own.

Kisses

Oh sweetie, I hope you do not have chrones.  My husband has it and it is, at times, debilitating and crippleling.  But, there is treatment.

I have a good friend who has crohn's. she has had it for years.  she would carry her medication with her and set her cell alarm to remind her to take what she needed when she needed it.  She did not let it interfere with her life and she did very well.  Sang with our ladies choir, traveled extensively, and went back to school and got her bachelors degree just because she wanted to.  she is now in remisson.  Crohn's is treatable and doesn't have to be debilitating.  Best of luck with whatever you find .  I am sure you would feel better just knowing what is wrong.

Thanks Linda. I have a cousin with Crohn's - she lives an active life too. It's not knowing that is bothersome.

Hi Annette,
My nephew has Crohns also and he does very well... he's in college, swims competitively, leads a very active social life, and I'm sure he wishes he didn't have it, but he deals with flare-ups and it doesn't seem to slow him down much. He's 23 and was diagnosed as a teenager. The medicines and treatments made all the difference for him. Just didn't want you to worry unnecessarily. Hugs to you...

Thank you Julia,
I am trying to keep busy and not worry. The M&M's have kept me going and my mind is better occupied.
